Common Questions

Where do you build?
Arnold Homes LLC builds in Williamson, Rutherford, and Davidson County. Our current neighborhoods include Kings Chapel (Arrington), Tuscany Hills (Brentwood), Sherwood Green (Nolensville), avery (Murfreesboro), Sherwood Green Estates (Nolensville) , Arbors of Autumn Ridge (Spring Hill), Allenwood (Thompson Station), and Bridgemore Village (Thompson Station). We also build on private lots and acreage as well.

What is the range of home sizes or average size?
We generally build homes ranging from 3,000-4,200 square feet, but build many custom homes beyond both ends of that range.

What is the price range?
We build a spectrum of homes from $350,000 and up, including neighborhoods and custom home projects that are $800,000 to $1,000,000 plus.

How long does it take to build a custom home?
The time from permitting to completion is usually in the 6-8 month range. The size of the home and any special features, such as a swimming pool, can influence the build time. Note that wet weather can have an impact on the completion date, depending on the stage of the building process.

What can I expect at my first custom home building meeting?
The more you can envision about your dream home, the faster the process can go. However, we will walk you, step by step, through the choices and options for your home, both interior and exterior. Feel free to bring pictures of features you like.

Do I need an Architect?
Arnold Homes will draw all custom plans with our own Architect. All we need are your ideas. If you already invested in plans, we can use those as well.

When should I schedule my movers?
We keep you informed of the progress on your home and estimated time to completion. You should know two months ahead of time the week your home should be completed, and your exact loan closing date at least 2 -4 weeks prior. When can I start moving my possessions into my new home? After the home is completed, a closing will be held at a title company where you will sign your mortgage loan documents as well as other paperwork. Keys are delivered at the end of this process.
